About Us

Handcrafting quality, dependable products to meet the needs of arborists is in our heritage. Climbing harnesses were among some of the first products our founder Harry Weaver produced in his small 20’ x 40’ shoe shop upon opening in 1973 in Mt. Hope, Ohio. Harry had many years of experience working with leather at other companies before deciding to set out on his own, and some customers followed him in his new business pursuit including arborist supplier Karl Kuemmerling.

Harry placed the fledgling company on a strong foundation of exceptional service from the very beginning. In those early years, Harry would load up his trusty El Camino with Karl Kuemmerling’s harness order and deliver it to their door about 45-minutes away in Massillon, Ohio. Going above and beyond to meet your needs is still an integral part of our business today.

At Weaver Arborist, we believe that details truly do make the difference. Thoughtful design, quality materials, and expert craftsmanship combine for products you can feel confident using out in the field. From premium harnesses to rugged scabbards, each product features details that set them apart in the industry. Plus, all products are carefully inspected by our Quality Control Specialist before leaving our manufacturing facility to ensure that they meet our high quality standards.

We are committed to the excellence of our work and the quality of our service and will go to great lengths to keep you a happy, satisfied customer. At Weaver Arborist, we’re not satisfied unless you are.
